Cooked By Conte LLC – Return & Refund Policy

Cooked By Conte LLC provides in-home chef and meal preparation services, not physical goods shipped to customers. As such, our return and refund policies differ from traditional retail purchases.

Please review this policy carefully before placing an order or scheduling services.

No Returns on Services

Because our services involve scheduled labor, time allocation, and perishable grocery purchases, all sales are final once services are rendered or reserved within the cancellation window.

We do not accept returns of services or prepared food.


Service Fee Refunds

Cancellations More Than 72 Hours in Advance

Cancellations or rescheduling requests submitted more than seventy-two (72) hours prior to the scheduled service date may be eligible for a refund or credit at Cooked By Conte’s sole discretion.

Approval of any refund or credit depends on whether labor or costs have already been incurred.


Cancellations Within 72 Hours

Cancellations or rescheduling requests submitted within seventy-two (72) hours of the scheduled service date are non-refundable.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Change of plans

  • Scheduling conflicts

  • Failure to submit menus

  • Failure to provide access to the service location


Grocery Reimbursement Policy

Groceries are purchased specifically for each scheduled service.

As a result:

  • Grocery costs are non-refundable once purchased

  • Grocery reimbursement remains due even if a service is canceled within the 72-hour window

  • Grocery reimbursement is never eligible for refunds, credits, or returns


Recurring Services & Skipped Weeks

For clients enrolled in recurring services:

  • You may skip, pause, or cancel future services with at least 72 hours’ notice

  • Failure to notify Cooked By Conte within the required notice period results in the service being treated as scheduled and billable


Emergency Situations

Cooked By Conte understands that emergencies may arise and strives to act with compassion. However:

  • Refunds or credits for emergency cancellations are not guaranteed

  • Any accommodation is provided at the Company’s discretion

  • Compassionate accommodations do not waive future enforcement of this policy


Non-Payment & Service Suspension

If grocery reimbursement or service fees remain unpaid:

  • Future services will be paused or canceled

  • Refunds will not be issued for missed services resulting from non-payment

  • Outstanding balances remain due and payable


Chargebacks & Disputes

Initiating a chargeback instead of contacting Cooked By Conte directly does not entitle you to a refund and may result in account suspension.
